Major Champ’s Golf Clubs Found At Local Used Sporting Goods Store

Losing your golf clubs is the worst, especially when you won a major with them. Reigning Women’s British Open winner In-Kyung Kim experienced this in late January after American airlines lost her sticks on a flight from Miami to San Diego. But this story has a different ending!

According to a Golfweek report, 3 good samaritans recently spotted her bag at a local used sports equipment store with her ID in it and the pockets still full.

While most of her clubs were missing (or presumably sold), her hybrids were selling for the low price of $69.99. Not bad considering they belonged to a major champion!

The only other thing missing were her head covers, which Kim hilariously wonders if they might sell separately.

Here’s the video she posted thanking everybody who helped find them:

What’s in my bag now?! They were selling at Play it again … only $60 each in San Diego. Jack, Jeff, Paul watched my video with @alisonwhitaker1 in Singapore and found my remaining clubs and brought it back to me @lpga_tour this week at Aviara!! Btw… Where is the head covers? They might sell separately????????????? Never mind.
