2019 Masters Tournament Purse Breakdown

The Masters Flag @GolfChannel

The Masters Tournament is full of traditions, one being it’s lucrative purse. After all, it is a major.

The 2019 purse is set for $11.5 million, up $500,000 from last year with the winner’s share being a modest $2,070,000. Patrick Reed took home $1.98 million for winning the 2018 Masters.

Second place will cash in $1,242,000. Not bad for finishing runner-up. Oh, to be good at golf.

While the U.S. Open still offers the highest purse all year at $12 million, it doesn’t offer a green jacket.
