WATCH: Bubba Watson Takes Preposterous Line In Japan
- Updated: October 27, 2019
Bubba Watson gave us all a free lesson in how to cut the corner during the PGA Tour’s Zozo Championship in Japan.
Teeing it up on the 587-yard par-5 6th hole, Watson was captured by Instagram user @jin_sss_ taking the most preposterous line off the tee you probably will ever see:
Not exactly sure which round this happened in, but the first round he made a bogey 6, round 2 he made par 5, and the 3rd round was a birdie 4. If this was the tee shot on the birdie, throw out all the textbooks.
Sure, Bubba plays a different game, but this is why we need cameras or at least shot tracker at all PGA Tour events. These guys do things average golfers can barely comprehend.
Seriously, think of a time you thought “hey, I’d have a better angle if I play it 90º right off the tee box!”
Hate it or love it, Bubba golf is real and it’s spectacular.
