Don’t Say “DILLY DILLY” At The Masters Or Else You’ll Be Kicked Out Immediately

The Masters is known as a tradition unlike any other … so are their rules.

Specifically what patrons aren’t allowed to shout at the event, or else you’ll be sent to the pit of misery. Dilly Dilly!

According to a Bunkered report, security staff has been handed a sheet by officials from Augusta National Golf Club this week which include forbidden words or phrases that will be grounds for immediate ejection.

While we can only assume what’s on it (mashed potatoes, baba booey, get in the hole, etc), one we do know for sure that made the cut is “DILLY DILLY” … the popular Bud Light catchphrase!

Unwritten Rules

Of course, Augusta National’s unwritten rules have been well documented over the years.

Here’s a look at a few of them that will get you into some serious trouble (please note … these are actually real):

  • No running
  • No napping
  • Don’t take off your shoes
  • No tipping
  • No backward hats
  • Don’t ask to be a members
  • No cell phones
  • Don’t steal anybody’s seat

With the ongoing discussion in recent months about rowdy fans in today’s game and players venting frustration on the course (ie. when JT ejected a fan for saying “get in the bunker”) the Masters is taking matters into their own hands – as they usually do – by eliminating all stupidity before it starts.
