Fan Ejected From Players After Asking Patrick Reed For His ‘Autograph’

Fan ejected from 2020 Players | Two Inches Short

Making fun of Patrick Reed for cheating never gets old, but it will get you kicked out of a PGA Tour event.

During the first round of the eventually canceled Players Championship, this dude in the bucket hat asked Patrick Reed – who is notoriously known to take liberties in the sand – to “sign his shovel” as he was walking by. Within seconds, the fan was escorted off the premises.

Can you spell S-O-F-T?

First of all, they shouldn’t have even played the first round because of the coronavirus pandemic so this never would’ve been a story. Second of all, the fan should’ve known players weren’t signing autographs due to health and safety concerns.

The guy wasn’t making a scene. He didn’t yell “FATRICK” or “YOU ARE A CHEATER” to Reed’s face. He simply asked a pro golfer for an autograph and chances are Ratrick didn’t even hear him.

Maybe he’s a huge Reed fan. Is that against the rules, too? Does a comment like this really warrant an ejection? The PGA Tour certainly thinks so.

Do you know who should be kicked out? The idiots yelling “MASHED POTATOES” and “GET IN THE HOLE.” Those are the people causing the REAL problems.
