Marc Leishman Keeps Game Sharp At Topgolf, Destroys Everybody

Want to know how some of the best players in the world stay sharp? Just like you and me … at Topgolf. Aussie Marc Leishman got in a practice session at the “premier entertainment and event venue” during the offseason and didn’t exactly fly under the radar.

“I didn’t realize there was, like, a leaderboard at the front desk,” Leishman said during last week’s Sentry Tournament of Champions, according to Golfweek. “I scored really high and then all of a sudden people turn around and I’m having a couple beers, just having fun.”

Couple things to note here. First, the fact that multiple time winner on Tour uses his real name, let alone goes to a Topgolf, is legendary. You see that name on that board, son? He won at Bay Hill and the BMW last year. Second, he dusted a field of amateurs who were there just trying to have a good time. Let’s be honest, you’d do the same thing if you could. At least I would.

Apparently, Leishman’s a lifetime member and the last time out he was recognized by the guy in the hitting bay next to him.

“He said, ‘You’re pretty good with the tools,’” Leishman said.

Yeah … you think?
