WATCH: Pro FIVE Putts From Inside 10 Feet

Jeff Maggert five putt pga tour champions @frankandrus

Want to feel better about your putting? Try watching a professional golfer FIVE-putt from inside 10 feet!

Jeff Maggert accomplished this horrifying/hilarious feat during the opening round of the PGA Tour Champions’ Hoag Classic on Friday.

Riding a pedestrian round of 2-over through 17 holes, the three-time PGA Tour winner had a birdie look on the par-5 18th hole and then this happened:

Count ’em. That’s a five jack from inside 10 feet. Maggert melted down so fast, Golf Channel didn’t even have time to update their graphic in the upper left-hand corner!

As quickly as it escalated, you have to respect how calm and collected Maggert appeared afterward. He cleaned up his 2-footer for a triple-bogey 8, handed his putter back to his caddie, and shook his playing competitors hands like it was no big deal.

If it was me, chances are my putter would’ve been snapped in half and I would’ve quit the game on the spot. (Let’s be honest if you don’t “quit” golf at least once a round, are you really playing?)

That’s why he’s a pro.
