Phil “Working On” Potential Rematch With Tiger
- Updated: March 30, 2020
In a world where live sports don’t currently exist, a live stream rematch between Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods might just save us all.
On Sunday, Twitter user @YurkisMaximus proved that not all heroes wear capes when he shot his shot to Phil and Tiger asking if they’d play a match with a single-camera stream and microphones.
Mickelson responded, “Working on it.”

Rematch 2.0?
Last time the two titans squared off in “The Match” Lefty got the best of Tiger winning a cool $9 million back in 2018.
Talk of a rematch has been in the works but was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which canceled or postponed literally everything related to sports and put the entire world on hold.
Please, please, please let this happen.
Better yet, this needs to happen. Take all the necessary precautions as prescribed by the CDC and WHO and stream it worldwide. Have it benefit the relief efforts, the front line responders, etc. Do it in a way that doesn’t make golf look pompous or stuck up. It’s a perfect opportunity.
