Tiger Woods’ Daily Routine In His Prime Was Wild
- Updated: February 15, 2018
Justin Thomas asked Tiger Woods recently what his he used to do at his age. JT is 24 and has won 7 times on the PGA Tour including 1 major. Tiger had 5 majors and 24 PGA Tour wins.
That’s when Big Cat let us in on his daily regimen from the early 2000s … and as expected, it’s wild.

Let’s break it down:
Run four miles in the morning – I’m lucky if I run 4 miles in a year. Running for fun? Ehhh … no thanks.
Lift weights at the gym – I stepped into a gym for the first time in my life this year. I’m not joking.
Hit balls for 2-3 hours on the range – If I had the time or the access to hit unlimited golf balls, I can get down with this.
Play a round of golf – Yes, please.
Work on short game – Sure, why not! My short game always needs work.
Run another four miles – Nope.
Play basketball or tennis – I’d rather have a beer.
Granted his routine has since changed, it puts in perspective the amount of work it takes to be the best.
