WATCH: Zach Johnson Accidentally Knocks Ball Off Tee Like A True Amateur
- Updated: April 12, 2019
Zach Johnson took a page out of the amateur playbook at Augusta National on Friday.
During the second round of the 2019 Masters, ZJ teed his ball up on the famous par-5 13th and then did what you or I would’ve done when he accidentally knocked the ball off the tee with a practice swing:

We all know ZJ won a Masters by laying up on every par 5, but this is getting ridiculous.
According to the new rules, since there wasn’t any intent he is allowed to re-tee his ball with no penalty (thankfully his caddie wasn’t standing behind him, otherwise it probably would’ve been!)

Of course, one of the MOST annoying things on a golf course is when you knock the ball off the tee and somebody says “that’s one!”
