Pro Takes Actual Seat In The Fairway During Web.com Event
- Updated: February 18, 2019
Slow play has been a hot topic in the golf world, especially over the weekend where we saw JB Holmes win the Genesis Open at a snail’s pace with little remorse.
But it appears the PGA Tour isn’t the only place where
2-time PGA Tour winner Matt Every decided to take a literal seat in the middle of the 16th fairway

According to @DrewCarr_, his caddie grabbed the chair from the 16th tee box and
16 tee box. Caddy carried it the rest of the way. What a legend.

Bold move bringing your own chair with you onto the course!
Might have to invest in one for our own game! Sure, the new push carts have optional seats you can attach to them. But there’s something about making your caddie carry the extra weight that feels right!
You know what they say … when play gets slow, the fast take a seat.
Loved how Brian Barnes dealt with slow play back in the eighties.. @JBHolmesgolf #yawnfest #GenesisOpen2019 #Golf pic.twitter.com/Dh4NRNswis
