WATCH: All Six Of Jack Nicklaus’ Masters Wins, Plus Some Stats That Will Never Get Old
- Updated: March 27, 2018
We went down a rabbit hole of Jack Nicklaus’ results in majors and needless to say they are ridiculous. The guy has 18 major wins (the most ever) and finished runner-up 19 times! If he gets a few more bounces the right way, he could’ve had close to 40 under his belt!
That said, there is no denying he’s the GOAT (aka the greatest of all time). But since the Masters is right around the corner, we are just going to focus on his performance at Augusta National over his career.
Here are a few stats that never get old:
- 6 wins – the most ever … Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer are tied for second with 4
- 4 runner-ups – tied for most ever with Ben Hogan
- 15 top 5s – most ever
- 22 top 10s – most ever
- 25 top 25s – most ever
- 10 straight T8s or better (1970-1979) – this is just wild
- T54 in 2000 – this was 39 YEARS after first pro start and he was 60 years old
- Only missed 2 starts in 46 years
- T6 in 1998 – did it at age 58 … probably the most impressive stat of them all!
