WATCH: Bryson Takes Anger Out On Spike Mark At WGC-Mexico Like A Psychopath

Bryson DeChambeau Blames Spike Mark At WGC Mexico-Championship | Two Inches Short Twitter/@golfdigest

Bryson DeChambeau was caught on camera doing something stupid, again. Did you expect anything different?

During the third round of the WGC-Mexico Championship, DeChambeau missed a par putt on the par-4 14th hole at Club de Golf Chapultepec and took his aggression out on a spike mark which he clearly blamed for his second consecutive bogey dropping him out of the lead.

Now would be a good time to remind everyone that tapping down spike marks *BEFORE* you putt is LEGAL as of this year!

Bryson knows the new rules (at least we think he does,) but why would he take responsibility for a poor putt? It’s never his fault, obviously. It’s a scientific fact.

Pro tip: If you’re going to blame anything for a crap golf shot, blame the ground.

The newly bulked-up Bryson went full HULK SMASH with his putter, but thankfully he didn’t do any damage, unlike last year.

Back in 2019 AT THE SAME EVENT, Bryson was filmed slamming his putter into the turf on LIVE TV.

While he attempts to fix his mess and apologize, it doesn’t make it right, especially when you basically do the same exact thing again. Lesson learned? We think not.

Grow up, Peter Pan. This isn’t a live stream of Fortnite. You’re a professional golfer. Act like one.
