ProTracer Vs. TopTracer: A Debate

There are few inventions that have changed mankind. While the wheel, sliced bread, automobiles, and the printing press come to mind, the one that’s arguably the most important is the advancement of ball flight technology. Or as it’s commonly referred to in the golf nerd world as ProTracer.
It single-handedly changed the way we view golf on TV. Instead of watching the best players in the world hit shots that looked so far right you would question whether they hit it off the hosel, now we can see the exact path of their majestic drives and approach shots.
Obviously, 4K HD helps too but that’s neither here nor there…
By now, you may have noticed on telecasts beginning last year that the name has been changed to TopTracer.
How could this be? Well, because the company formally known as ProTracer was acquired by Topgolf in 2016 and has since rebranded. And every time we hear it, a little part of us dies inside.
So we decided to ask our loyal fans what you guys call it … is it ProTracer or TopTracer? Here are the results:

Almost 300 hundred people voted and ProTracer won in a landslide victory affirming what we already knew.
But 98% to 2%??? If this isn’t a free lesson for TopTracer’s marketing department, we don’t know what is!
