WATCH: Andy Sullivan Loses It In Euro Tour Ace Challenge
- Updated: April 25, 2019
If you’ve never made an ace, you probably know the feeling of almost making an ace. It blows. If you have made one, well then, good for you.
European Tour pro Andy Sullivan attempted to make a one in the latest edition of their ridiculous “#ChaseTheAce” series.
Sullivan, one of the more entertaining players across the pond, was given 500 balls to make an ace and the reactions were fantastic. Here’s the set up:
- London Golf Club
- 171-yards
- 7-iron
We gave @AndySulliGolf 500 balls to see if he could make a hole-in-one.

Finally, after 229 balls and an obscene amount of offensive language, Sullivan drained it for the hole-in-one.
Obviously, our favorite part was the one that ended up literally two inches short and seeing the look of pure agony on his face.

Here were the final stats:
- 230 shots
- 217 Greens in Regulation (94%)
- 90 shots within 10ft (39%)
- 42 shots within 5ft (18%)
- 8 balls in the bunker (3%)
- 14.8 ft average proximity
- 1 hole-in-one
Good for Andy … meanwhile, we’re still waiting for our first. Thanks for reminding us!
