2018 PGA Championship Betting Picks

Looking to put some money on the 2018 PGA Championship? We asked our good buddy, golf course superintendent, and degenerate gambler Nic for some help in a segment we’re calling “Big Dick Nic’s Picks.”
(Odds as of August 8 at Bovada)
Brooks Koepka 20/1
The reigning back-to-back U.S. Open champion comes to Bellerive in strong form (seriously, the man is jacked) and figures to be a steal at 20/1 … how is a two-time major winner 20/1? We have no idea .. but we’ll take it. Fresh off a 5th place finish at the WGC-Bridgestone, BK also boasts a solid record at the PGA where he has four T15s in five starts including a T5 (2015) & T4 (2016).
Rickie Fowler 22/1
Is this the week Slick Rick finally breaks through in a major? The 29-year-old has been oh-so-close notching three T5s in his last 7 major starts (T5 at the 2017 PGA) … and that’s not even including his T5 grand slam in 2014. It almost seems like he prefers waiting around the 18th green to offer JT, Spieth, etc a hearty congratulations for the victory instead of actually winning himself. At 22/1 and newly engaged to smokeshow Allison Stokke, you may want to book it.
Tommy Fleetwood 28/1
If Tommy Fleetwood aka the Royal Flusher isn’t on you’re radar this week, you’re probably new to gambling. Besides the incredible flow under his Nike rope hat, the 27-year-old Englishman can flat out play. Although he hasn’t won in the States, this year on the PGA Tour Fleetwood ranks 5th in total strokes-gained and was runner-up at the U.S. Open. He also has five T-7s and only one MC in 13 starts.
Bubba Watson 45/1
We learned a long time ago, if you have nothing nice to say about somebody, don’t say it at all. The gangly, socially awkward lefty has collected a season-high 3 wins this year since switching back to a real golf ball. He also can arguably work it better than anyone from right to left which should bode nicely for a golf course that features 10+ dogleg lefts.
Tiger Woods 28/1
